Can you advise me the right things to eat and drink as I have just been diagnosed with angina. For instance can?

I drink tea and coffee? What foods and drinks are good when one has angina and what are bad?
Fastty foods are out I know.

Just eat healthily basically. Try and eat your ’5 a day’ fruit and vegetables, try and ensure that the bulk of your main meals are starch-based foods (e.g. cereals, potatoes, rice, wholegrain bread, pasta.)
Reduce sodium consumption- no more than about 6g daily. Try and eat three portions of oily fish per week, reduce the amount of saturated fats you eat and reduce alcohol consumption. You don’t have to stop drinking alcohol completely, -red wine in particular is actually beneficial to the heart, just ensure that you do not exceed 14 units per week.

Most important thing is exercise. Try and do at least 30 minutes per day (gradually build it up).

Tea and coffee is generally fine in moderation, some people find that caffeine increases angina pain. See how you go.
