Is this angina or something else?

June 7th, 2010 by admin

I seem to have the symptoms of angina. I get discomfort in the top left portion of my abdomen. This discomfort occurs sometimes at rest. Ive had an EKG during rest and it was normal. What boggles me about this is that during very high heart exertion I rarely get it. Additionally, sometimes I dont have it for weeks at a time. It may be related to stress… But I dont see why stress would cause it but excercise would not. Any ideas?

When you get this pain try chewing on a gaviscon tablet to see what happens with your pain

I would suggest esophageal reflux rather then angina. Especially after tests show no angina.
Have this checked out also before getting to excited also, kindey stones, bladder infection and kidney infection.

Get checked out if you are really worried but it doesn’t sound like angina at all.May be a nerve or a ‘stitch’.
